Here are our suggestions to best care for your Urge the Boys jewellery.
CLEANING
We recommend you clean your jewellery with a damp cloth or small amount of mild detergent if and when you feel it's necessary. To maintain the shine of your pieces, wipe over with a soft cotton cloth after each wear.
Avoid ammonia, vinegar, acid or alcohol when cleaning. Always read the labels of any products you use to make sure it will not damage your jewellery.
EMBELLISHED PRODUCTS
All of our beautiful jewellery embellishing is set by hand, therefore, every piece will vary slightly.
Please be gentle. Special care of embellished pieces should be taken.
Refrain from getting perfume, moisturiser or hairspray on them.
JEWELLERY
Urge the Boys jewellery is hand made. The metal components we use are generally made of brass & all are hand plated with an antique or oxidized finish. All earring hooks are nickel free. We use either brass, sterling silver or gold filled earring hooks. Some pieces will naturally take on a vintage appearance with time.
If you are not happy with this look you can you products like Brasso, found at most supermarkets to bring it back to its original form.
Always keep your Urge the Boys jewellery stored in a safe place. Hang earrings from a jewellery stand when not using. Pieces may be delicate so care should be taken when wearing & storing.
Refrain from wearing your Urge the Boys jewellery when swimming, or when there will be full contact with water.
Damage from careless wear/storage is not the responsibility of Urge the Boys.
